以一首可口可乐广告曲“I’d Like To Teach The World To Sing”红遍大街小巷，也一举打响了The New Seekers/梦想家合唱团的名号。原为澳洲民谣摇滚团The Seekers主唱兼吉他手的Keith Potger在该团解散后，于1969年组成有英国澳洲背景的The New Seekers，团中有两位女主音Eve Graham与Sally Graham、两位吉他手兼男主音Laurie Heath与Marty Kristian、以及贝斯手兼男主音Chris Barrington，Potger则负责制作1970年发行的首张同名专辑‘The New Seekers’。虽然他们干净甜美的合音以及流行调性与The Seekers很相似，但音乐的纯熟度却更胜一筹！1974年该团在英国举办了告别巡回演唱会，并录制了告别专辑‘The Farewell Album’，虽然在1976年该团重组，但声势已不如以往。 J smB^
Eve Graham (born Evelyn May Beatson, 19 April 1943, in Auchterarder, Perth and Kinross, Scotland) initially made her name as a band singer both in Scotland and England. ;`+`#h3-V

In 1969 she joined The New Seekers and was lead singer on the majority of their early hits including the world wide Number One hit - "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing". Later fellow band member Lyn Paul would share lead vocal duties. Pubv$u2

In 1974 she left the group to move into solo cabaret work, but rejoined in 1976 and sang lead on their hit "I Wanna Go Back". ;,k=<]

In 1978 she left once more, and again performed as a solo singer, as well as marrying another ex-New Seeker Danny Finn on 1 June 1979. 9p4y>3

They toured as a duo for many years. Eve Graham retired in 2000 after a last charity performance, and originally said that she could not envision being tempted out of retirement. \9w~pO

But in 2005 former New Seekers record producer David Mackay did it, and produced a new album with her - The Mountains Welcome Me Home. It was released as a CD and DVD, and contains Scottish traditionals and new recordings of old New Seekers songs. A new Christmas album is also in the making. 4^[
