Much touted album from this talented singer songwriter which turns out to be as quirky and charming as you might imagine (particularly with the involvement of Tunng and Capitol K on production duties). Lush musical elements with sparkling melodies and that ever-present folky feel work in tandem with her gorgeous, slightly affected vocal style (comparisons with Joanna Newsom are valid, I would say) and create a sweet, very British and very pleasing work.
