音乐风格上，最富有“跨界爵士乐”（Crossover Jazz）色彩的。 當代爵士樂」（Contemporary Jazz），是一種融合了流行音樂、節奏藍調（R&B）與世界音樂（World Music-特別是拉丁音樂）等音樂元素的爵士樂。輕快流暢的節奏，平易近人的旋律結構是「跨界爵士樂」的最大特色；雖然曾經被支持傳統的樂迷們斥為「離經叛道」，但卻也為爵士樂開發了許多潛在的樂迷。 2 e&M/{

Brian Melvin and Dave Kikoski create a beautiful new standard for the music of The Beatles. The basic trio consists of Brian, Dave and Larry Grenadier. The trio has enlisted a little help from their friends (!), who happen to be some of the most respected names in jazz, whose stellar contributions help lift this CD to another level. The unparalleled Toots Thielemans (harmonica), celebrated West African Verve artist Richard Bona (bass and vocals) and esteemed Blue Note artists Joe Lovano (saxophone) all provide memorable guest performances. euET)Ccq
