今年1月的北美車展上出現了“眾星捧月”的景像，這輪“明月”就是勞斯萊斯的新車幻影(Phantom)。
　　“對你所做的每一件事情都力求完滿，現有的東西要使其更好，?>有的東西要設計出來。”勞斯萊斯汽車的奠基人亨利·羅伊斯在差不多一個世紀前的諄諄教誨，在幻影的誕生過程中仍然起著指導性的作用。
　　幻影具有長軸距、長發動機罩，前懸很短，前橋裝在發動機前面，這些有助於優化重量的分配。與此相反的是後懸比較長。圍繞垂直的散熱器的直上直下的前臉和安裝位置高的前燈一起，形成了幻影純種勞斯萊斯車高貴的正面形像。
　　外形的另一個特點是車頂輪廓，在它靠近車尾並與粗壯的C柱彙合處位置較高，其優美的下行曲線與一條沿著車底部從後向前伸展的精巧曲線相對應。當然，最重要的還是幻影有一個正確的尺寸和比例，這帶給它威嚴和莊重，並表明這是一輛具有良好穩定感的大型轎車。車長5834mm、寬1990mm、高1632mm，軸距為3570mm。
