The unique sound of The Mood Swings developed when guitarist/songwriter Ashley Prenzlow (ex-TheMeg, ex-Basement Apartment) joined forces with kindred spirit Sallie Watson and started cutting their first demos on a 4-track. A little punk here, a little bit of 60s garage there, a lot of attitude everywhere - melded into tunes prickly with pop hooks. With their songs and vibe coordinated, the girls recruited the dynamic rhythm section of Dan Boen (bass) and Mike Reiter (skins) and brought the rock to the live stage. The Mood Swings well-received debut album \'Come on Tell Me\' was released in 2005 on Minneapolis indie pop label Susstones. \'No Limit\' was recorded by Ed Ackerson (Polara, Jayhawks, Replacements). This new collection of top notch tracks marks the next chapter of sonic growth for the band and reflects the exciting changes the band has experienced over the past year.
